Made Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Panel Technician to work for our client in Northampton area.
Our client has been established as a specialist paint and body repair facility for over 20 years. In addition to standard body repairs, they have developed an advanced technical division to deal with complex aluminium and carbon composite structural work.
Duties will include: • To undertake repair work on all makes of motor vehicles in a safe and economical manner, achieving the highest-possible standards of workmanship at all times. • To follow documented industry repair methods to ensure vehicles are repaired to manufacturers original build specification. • To work effectively within the Bodyshop team to ensure industry-leading standards of customer care and satisfaction at all times. • Ensure all job times, materials, labour and costings are recorded accurately and in full. Ensure replacement orders are made. • Ensure all work is carried out accurately and to the highest-possible quality standards, complying with and safety directives and industry standards. Report defects or faults to Controllers/Managers. • Meet all deadlines as set by Controllers/Manager and company procedures.
The ideal candidate will have: • ATA Qualification • Thorough understanding through experience or training on the repair and body repairing techniques of vehicles to industry standards and customer requirements. • Ability to manage and administer your time to achieve Company set parameters and efficiencies. • Up-to-date knowledge of vehicle and consumer legislation and trade practices. • Able to work within a team to achieve objectives and high levels of customer satisfaction. • Technical qualifications as required to carry out your duties inline with expectations.
Working hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Northampton area
